Rubber pipe refers to the pipe used for gas transportation. It is often used for gas welding, gas cutting, various gas shielded welding, plasma arc welding and cutting.
There are two types of rubber tubes for welding. The red tube is an oxygen tube with a maximum use pressure of 1.5 MPa. The green or black tube is an acetylene tube. The allowable use pressure is 0.5 to 1.0 Mpa. The characteristics of the rubber tube are physiological inertness, UV resistance, ozone resistance, high and low temperature resistance (-80 to 300 degrees), high transparency, strong resilience, compression and permanent deformation, oil resistance, stamping resistance, acid and alkali resistance, wear resistance, Flame resistance, voltage resistance, conductivity and other properties.
There are certain inspection standards for rubber hoses. For example, the hydraulic test: This is mainly to check whether the rubber tube and the assembly have leakage, deformation and damage under the verification pressure for 30s-60s. There is also a compression deformation test, which is held under the specified pressure for 1 minute, and measures the length and outer diameter change of the hose and the twist angle and bending.
Burst pressure test is also indispensable. It refers to measuring the pressure of a hose when it bursts at a specified boosting speed. And leakage test, this is stored under static pressure of 70% of the lower burst pressure for 5min, repeated once, check whether leak or damage. The above is one of its inspection standards.
